A native of the province of Quebec, Canada, Patrice received his BS in Agronomy and a MS in Plant Genetics, from Laval University. He then went to work for several years in the plant biotechnology private sector. Since joining the lab, Patrice’s research has focused on understanding the mechanisms underlying shade avoidance responses in maize.
