Background and Research Interests

Nathan received a B.S. in Plant Biology and a B.A. in German from Michigan State University in 2005. His research focuses on understanding the genetic and cellular mechanisms that control the arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosis in the model legume Medicago truncatula.
