Amy is currently a senior at the University of Texas in Austin, TX. While in the Doyle lab, Amy studied the Glycine falcata phylogenies using chloroplast DNA and nuclear DNA. During her internship, Amy learned several techniques including gene phylogenies, bioinformatics, PCR, and DNA sequencing.
