The mission of the Information Resource Center is to assist Institute scientists and staff with the use of electronic information services.
Update on Resource Center Space Renovations
Major renovation work will begin in the near future which will allow us to accommodate the following offices and general use areas:
Offices
- Development Officer
- Education Outreach Coordinator
- Public Information Officer
- IT Manager
- Computer Support Specialist, Web Designer and Library Assistant
- Graphics Room (which will house the copier and poster printer)
General Use Areas
- Public computers
- Current journals
- Reading area with comfortable chairs (swing arms on the chairs to rest laptops)
- Existing book collection in bookcases surrounding exterior glass wall
- Public printer
- Wireless network access and enhanced access to electrical outlets
Please note that during the renovation process, Resource Center services and equipment will not be available.
Our staff will be temporarily housed in Room 103 and will be reachable at btihelp-L@cornell.edu or 4-4758.
